School of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Indore invites applications for the faculty post of Assistant Professor and Associate professor. The last date for submission of application is 7th October 2014.

Assistant Professor	English, Economics, Sociology, Philosophy, Psychology	Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600 -39,100) with seventeen non-compounded advance increments (minimum starting pay of Rs. 26,620/-) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- p.m. / Minimum pay of Rs. 30,000/-in Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600 -39,100) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8,000/-p.m.
Associate Professor	English, Philosophy	Pay Band-4 (Rs. 37,400 -67,000) with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,500/-p.m. For direct recruits, minimum pay in Pay Band-4 will be fixed at Rs. 42,800/- p.m. Total emoluments in the minimum of pay in pay band will be Rs. 1,18,260/- p.m.

Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. with a first class or equivalent in terms of grades etc. at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout. Candidates must have demonstrated research capability through refereed publications and should be willing to teach a broad spectrum of UG and PG courses.

Qualifications & Experience:

Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) ->

(1) B. E. in relevant branch or Equivalent with First Class / 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA and minimum of 6 (six) years post qualification experience, (OR)
(2) 3 year Diploma in relevant branch or Equivalent with First Class / 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA and minimum of 9 (nine) years post qualification experience.

Assistant Engineers (AE) ->

(1) B. E. in relevant branch or Equivalent with First Class / 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA and minimum of 4 (four) years post qualification experience, (OR)
(2) 3 year Diploma in relevant branch or Equivalent with First Class / 60% marks / 6.5 CGPA and minimum of 7 (seven) years post qualification experience.

Junior Accountant -> First Class B.Com. from a recognized university / institute and knowledge of Tally accounting software and minimum two years post qualification accounts experience and knowledge of central government rules and regulations.

Junior Assistants -> First Class Graduation (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A. or equivalent) from a recognized university / institute and minimum one year post qualification experience and knowledge of central government rules and regulations.
